One day a year
Loving everyone
Starting with God
There was a blizzard
Trudging through snow
Neighbors the Thorsons
Three girls
One my age
Delivering the goods
Hot chocolate
Lots of candy
With time things changed
Fewer cards but flowers
Wine and roses
Dinner reservations
Romance evolves
Ever more intense
Time does make
Cowards of us all
Even lovers
There for each other
Sweet soft kisses
Linger forever
