Foxboro, Portsmouth, Pittsfield and Rutland

By: - Mar 14, 2011

The J. Geils Band, Aerosmith, Boston, The Joe Perry Project, Farrenheit, Jon Butcher Axis, Bellevue Cadillac. These are just a few of the amazing bands that have brought Boston rock around the world as far back as 1970. Now some of the most accomplished musicians from these bands join together in one historic all-star group playing a four-date tour of New England.

Kicking off on Thursday March 17 at Showcase Live in Foxboro MA, the tour continues to The Music Hall in Portsmouth NH on Friday 3/18, The Colonial Theatre in Pittsfield MA on Saturday 3/19, and wraps at the Paramount Theatre in Rutland VT on Sunday 3/20.

This is truly an incredible lineup of musicians, from guitarist J. Geils, bass player Danny Klein and Magic Dick of the J. Geils Band to Barry Goudreau, formerly of the band Boston, Joe Pet of the Joe Perry Project and Doug Bell of Bellevue Cadillac. Vocals for this band are shared by guitar hero Jon Butcher of the Jon Butcher Axis, Charlie Farren of The Joe Perry Project and Farrenheit, and David Hull, who has performed with Aerosmith and The Joe Perry Project.

The Boston Legends All Stars will also feature Sandy MacDonald from The Commitments, 17-year old girl guitar prodigy Desiree Bassett, who has performed with James Montgomery and Ted Nugent, and The Uptown Horns, who have backed The Rolling Stones and The J. Geils Band.

The Fools, who have made their own mark on New England music since 1975 with their unique mix of rock and comedy, will open.
