Ferrin Contemporary Update

From North Adams to the World

By: - Apr 11, 2024

Last fall, as Ferrin Contemporary shifted directions, we knew that moving the gallery meant we would have more time to focus on the work and exhibitions featuring gallery artists. It also gave us the freedom to travel to museums where their work is now on view and attend public events. We have enjoyed sharing Our America/Whose America? at The Valentine in Richmond VA, which closes soon with a final tour on April 21, 2024. We are particularly excited about the upcoming International Ceramic Art Fair (ICAF) at the Gardiner Museum in Toronto in May where we will present the work of three artists during the 10 day festival. If you're planning a trip to Europe ...  there are the two exhibitions in France featuring four artists in group exhibitions - Hey! Ceramique.s and ABSOLU.

When we asked Are We There Yet? - the title of our final exhibition in North Adams, MA, we knew then what we can share with you now.  The "there" in 2024 is not a singular location. The art world is diverse, its large footprint now fully digital is not limited by geography. 2024 is already a busy year filled with opportunities to see master works by gallery artists but if you can't get "there", we're excited to take you with us virtually through the beautiful images on our website.

Click through the links in today's newsletter to learn more about exhibitions and events taking place near you, make travel plans to get "there" and know you are always invited to visit us in Cummington, MA at Project Art where we exhibit selected works by gallery artists, current projects and enjoy creating personalized itineraries to visit studios in the area.
