A Slide/Video Presentation on Namibia by Ronnie Jane Levin is scheduled for Wednesday April 25 at 7:30 pm at the Williams College Faculty House. The faculty center is located on the campus of Williams College on a street that parallels the ’62 Center and its theatres.
Ronnie Jane Levin, world traveler, adventurer and longtime Williamstown resident, recently camped in Namibia for 2 weeks, visiting the famous 60' high Sand Dunes, the renowned Etosha Game Park, the African Rescue Center, the Ancient San/Bushman cave paintings and rock engravings, the isolated Himba Tribal people, and the Batswana and Bushmen Tribes of the Kalahari Desert.
Videos of traditional Tribal Dancing will be also be shown.
The event will include Desserts and a Cash Bar.
Ticket prices for the lecture and reception are $7.00 for Faculty Club members, and $9.00 non members.
