Al Jarreau and Gladys Knight Headline June 26 & 27

Saratoga Performing Arts Center and Absolutely Live Entertainment recently announced the lineup for Freihofer  Saratoga Jazz Festival.  The "Empress of Soul" Gladys Knight, jazz singer Al Jarreau & the George Duke Trio, legendary blues icon Taj Mahal, guitarist extraordinaire Al Di Meola and two piano legends – Ramsey Lewis and Ahmad Jamal are some of the great artists appearing at this year’s two-day jazz extravaganza.  The Saturday, June 26 and Sunday, June 27 jazz festival will feature more than 20  performances on SPAC’s Amphitheater and Gazebo stages. 

A special deal is available for early birds looking forward to enjoying the weekend under the pines.   Two-day jazz passes are available with online form at before the deadline of May 10.  

Two-Day Jazz Passes can be purchased before May 10 for $115.00 [adult reserved seating in the amphitheater], $98.00 [children under 12 reserved seating in the amphitheater] or $76.00 [lawn] and $10.00 [lawn for children under 12] at or by phone at 518-584-9330 x135.

Single-day Saturday, June 26 tickets are priced at $65.00 [adult amphitheater], $55.00 [children under 12 amphitheater], $44.00 [lawn] and $5.00 [lawn for children under 12].  

Single-day Sunday, June 27 tickets are priced at $58.00 [adult amphitheater], $51.00 [children under 12 amphitheater], $44.00 [lawn] and $5.00 [lawn for children under 12].

The Saratoga Performing Arts Center box office opens on May 9.

Located in scenic Saratoga Springs, New York, Saratoga Performing Arts Center has been the site of Freihofer’s Saratoga Jazz Festival since it was established in 1978.  Boasting world class jazz talent, an inside seating capacity of 5,200, lawn seating of 20,000 and located just three hours driving time from either Boston or New York City, Freihofer’s Saratoga Jazz Festival draws thousands of jazz lovers from across the Northeast and the United States.
