Is this a poem
Not for me to say
That’s up to you
There are polarities
Writer and reader
You have a hand in this
Utter nonsense
Entirely your job
There is to be sure
Satisfaction in making
Advantage over reader
Setting the rules
Marking goalposts
Creating and enforcing
Words such as they are
For the fun of it
Poke in the nose
Sod the bourgeois
Being in control
Then again not
No way of knowing
If you read this
Got sucked in
Matter of indifference
Fun in doing
Playing a game
By my rules
Whether you
Like it or not
Nonetheless
Have gotten this far
Or perhaps not
Who will ever know
Something so amusing
Better than sex or money
Then again fuck poetry
Rubes so absurdly
Posting on Facebook
Praised by fanboys
Juicy fruitcakes
You are so beautiful
Swans and sunsets
Only relevant
If someone
Reads this
Scribbled drivel
Eons from now
Neon cowboy
