No waves crashing
The beach below
Curving cove
Morning views
Looking out at
Twin Lights
Treacherous island
Hazard for mariners
Day by day
Different weather
Fog or rain
Bright and sunny
Surfers out there
Falling off boards
Salty spectacle
Back home
Landlocked Berkshires
The mill stream
Heard softly
Beneath our loft window
Slim substitute
For an ocean
Washing over
Fading memory
Fabled island
Of my ancestors
Now low tide
How we long
For the sea

"Last line, you need an adjective for the sea, I think. It would make this sensitive work. Suggestion: I would remove "Fabled" and place it in the last line, a modifier for "sea." Or get a better word. Otherwise, a nicely sustained piece. Definitely, a worthwhile trip!"
