Me as wannabe
Dog in cars
Golden Retrievers
Big black Labs
Lapping up air
Gulping down sunshine
Such sweet ecstasy
Heads out windows
Slurpy sloppy tongues
Ears flapping in breeze
Back of trucks
Of all the luck
Taken for rides
No destinations
Fun on the run
Chasing pigeons
Off leash at the beach
Plunging in ponds
Mom took Donner
Our Weimaraner
On rounds of house calls
Parking in shade
Rewards of ice-cream
Tail wagging ways
Most dogs have it made
More better than us
Masters as slaves
Earning living wage
Jealous of fabulous pups
Free as a breeze
Bursting with love
Tricks for treats
Can’t be beat
Every dog has its day
