By: Philip S. Kampe & Maria Reveley - Jul 15, 2017
Explore the beauty of the newly completed greenhouses and recently renovated gardens at Naumkeag's Annual Summer Garden Party, which will take place from 4-7pm on Saturday, July 22nd.
Join Honorary Chairs, Elizabeth and Robert Wilmers, Co-Chairs Hilary Somers Deely, Celia deG. Kittredge, the Host Committee and the Trustees of Reservations for cocktails and hors d'oeuvres on the grounds of this National Historic Landmark.
The sweeping views of the Berkshire landscape paired with the newly renovated greenhouses and Chinese Temple Garden add to the brilliance and splendor of Naumkeag.
Yo-Yo Ma recently said that his family has always been passionate for Naumkeag. He is grateful for the time he could spend with his wife, Jill, and their children on this magnificent property.
The newly renovated greenhouses were the vision of landscape architect Fletcher Steele and Naumkeag's, Mabel Choate.
The universal belief of visitors and those involved in keeping Naumkeag a national treasure has turned this magnificent property into a work of art, an outdoor landscape full of nooks and crannies, curvy gardens and painted poles. The property is complex, inspiring and fascinating.
The grounds comprise 48 acres and are open from 10am to 5pm daily, through mid-October.
The Summer Garden Party is the highlight of the summer season and always amemorable event. Chefs, specially made drinks, music and speeches highlight this 'once a year' event.
