Tickets will go on sale for the Boston Pops Holiday Series on Monday, September 13.  Continuing one of Boston’s most beloved traditions, Keith Lockhart and the Boston Pops open the 2010 series on Wednesday, December 8, and the 37 concert series will run until Sunday, December 26.  Holiday Pops tickets, ranging in price from $27-$125, depending on date and time, will go on sale at 8 a.m. on Monday, September 13, online at bostonpops.org.

 

      Starting at 10 a.m. on Monday, September 13, tickets may be purchased by phone at SymphonyCharge at 617-266-1200 or 888-266-1200, and through the Symphony Hall Box Office, located at 301 Massachusetts Avenue.

THE 2010 HOLIDAY POPS SEASON, DECEMBER 8-26

This year’s Holiday Series runs December 8-26 and includes 37 pre- and post-Christmas evening and matinee concerts. The season also includes seven special kids’ matinee concerts on Friday, December 10 (4 p.m.); Saturday, December 11 (11 a.m.); Sunday, December 12 (11 a.m.); Friday, December 17 (4 p.m.); Saturday, December 18 (11 a.m.); Sunday, December 19 (11 a.m.), and Friday, December 24 (11 a.m.). These family concerts include a children’s sing-along, and parents can bring cameras to take photos of their children with Santa after the concert.  Table seats will include a kid-friendly menu, along with special holiday treats.  The Arbella Insurance Group Charitable Foundation is the official sponsor of the Kids Matinees.

 

ADDITIONAL TICKET INFORMATION

The Symphony Hall Box Office is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday.  The Box Office remains open through intermission on performance nights.  American Express, MasterCard, Visa, Discover, Diners Club, personal checks, and cash are all accepted at the Box Office. There is a $5.50 per ticket handling fee for tickets ordered by phone or online. All Holiday Pops patrons, regardless of age, must have a ticket.
 

Patrons with disabilities can access Symphony Hall through the Cohen Wing on Huntington Avenue.  An access service center, accessible restrooms, and elevators are available inside this entrance.  For ticket information, call the Disability Services Information Line at 617-638-9431 or TDD/TTY 617-638-9289.
