Shakespeare & Company Greetings
If music be the food of love, play on
By: Allyn Burrows - Dec 18, 2020
Dear wonderful friends and supporters of Shakespeare & Company,
We hope this message finds you well. As we reflect on this unprecedented year and the challenges it brought to the world, our country, and our community, one thing that stands out is how the arts remain a vital piece of the fabric of our lives.
We hope you and those close to you were able to find moments of joy this year, perhaps in the virtual programs that Shakespeare & Company and other arts organizations offered. We have embraced the opportunity of finding new ways to connect and create programs to share with you, virtually and safely, and we very much look forward to welcoming you back to 70 Kemble Street this coming summer.
So many possibilities lie ahead for us in 2021. We are reconfiguring our campus to offer a new outdoor venue for our audiences to convene next summer, and we’re excited to have you enjoy the property in person! In the meantime, we strive to enrich the lives of friends and students through our Performance, Education, and Training programs virtually—to enlighten, educate, and inspire our community through the power of language. All this wouldn’t be possible without the support of our devoted friends and supporters.
We invite you to consider an end-of-year gift as we envision the future and rejoice in what Shakespeare & Company means to all of us. Your tax-deductible gift of any amount is greatly appreciated and truly makes a difference to our students, artists, and staff.
Thank you for being part of our Shakespeare & Company family and for your steadfast support in 2020. Now we turn our attention to New Horizons, and a brighter future!
Wishing you a safe and peaceful holiday season.
Allyn Burrows and all of us here at Shakespeare & Company
